Single-acting
Discover the performance of our single-acting hydraulic cylinders. The hydraulic pressure causes movement in one direction, the return movement is effected by an external force. The hydraulic cylinder requires only one supply line. Depending on the active area (diameter of the piston rod or piston diameter) and pressure, the maximum force is different.
Double-acting
Our single-stage, double-acting cylinder offers movement in both directions. Hydraulic pressure extends and retracts the piston rod. With two supply lines and efficient force transmission, it ensures fast and precise actions in your systems. The maximum force results from the pressure and the active area. This corresponds to the piston area when extending and the ring area as the difference between the piston and rod area when retracting. If the pressure remains the same and the volume flow constant, the piston rod retracts faster and extends more slowly.
